Military Appreciation Month

May is Military Appreciation Month. This week, instead of answering a patient question, I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our servicemen and women. Thank you for putting others before self. Thank you for your courage. Thank you for risking everything. Thank you. Without your service, I would not be able to safely and freely practice my passion here at home. I feel very honored to have been referred dozens of veterans over the years by the VA Center of Milwaukee – veterans suffering from serious dental conditions or minor dental conditions complicated by extreme anxiety or PTSD. It is especially gratifying to be a part of the physical and often emotional transformation of these patients resulting from their dental pain relief and restored confidence.

If you know a military veteran who is suffering oral pain of any kind, please refer him or her to Modern Touch Dental. Our team’s kindness, compassion, and understanding have been heralded by countless patients as helping to ease anxiety prior to dental treatment. Modern Touch Dental is also one of the few practices in the Greater Milwaukee Area to offer Oral Conscious Sedation. Thanks to donations and federal funding, we are sometimes able to offer Oral Conscious Sedation to our veterans at no cost to them. It is simply provided to the patient as a means of ensuring the ultimate level of comfort and an anxiety-free experience throughout the duration of treatment.
